Wow, it's been so long and people have changed the journal settings again, haha!
I am...incredibly busy at the moment. More so than usual! Apart from the evening shifts of my paid job (which is currently being restructured so everyone's a bit up in the air), I'm also volunteering for a housing partnership a couple of days, and doing a few 10-page apps - and knowing me, tying myself up in knots because I'm so easily worried!
So then, what else is happening, if I get five minutes of calm...?
- I am slowly working on a folio site. The name's been sitting and registered since August of last year, but I keep being led away. The site works on paper! I've just yet to, you know, code it.
- My webcomic is slowly coming along as well. My script is finished, and I've started thumbnailing, I'm just behind on my mini-deadlines. Hopefully I can show the da-account I've made up for it soon - there's not much in there because I'm behind in scanning and everything is really sketchy and weird. The characters are neither people nor animals, and I'm anxious to see how it will be received (although I really shouldn't care)
- I have a novel-piece that's in progress (ideas being written on scrap paper, forty page document from the seedy messes of NaNoWriMo) that I hope to do some work with soon. The world of Astrid Jones and her cohorts is very different from anything I've written - or drawn - before, and while a lot of it is unclear, I'm hoping to pin them down soon.
- I have not forgotten fic either. I think it's just been so long since I wrote anything quite so complicated. I am - no joke - onto my fifteenth version of a chapter for The November Protocol. What do you do when the story refuses to write, or there are too many ways to put it across? I know what happens after, I just don't know how to get there! Anyone have any ideas?
In closing, I have to bake a lot of cupcakes this weekend for a work do, and three interviews to prepare for. D:!!
